Recipe of the month: Skoon Rooibos Curd with fresh strawberries
For 4 hungry strawberry-curd-cheese-fans:
- 500 g low fat curd cheese
- 200 ml cream
- 50 ml cool Skoon Rooibos Tea
- 5 tablespoons of honey (of course you can use more if you like, that depends how sweet you are!)
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla pulp
- 250 g strawberries
Wash the strawberries thouroughly and cut them into little cubes. Now mix the curd cheese with the Skoon Rooibos Tea, Honey and the vanilla pulp. To get the vanilla pulp just cut the vanilla husk lengthwise into two pieces and loose the pulp with a little knife. Now whip the cream and fold it carefully into the curd mixture. Afterwards you can serve the strawberries either on or in the curd cheese cream - definitely it will be delicious!
Skoon is decaffeinated and could therefore be enjoyed at day and night and could also be drunk by children and babies.
You will appreciate the sweet taste of Skoon when you enjoy it pure.
But it´s also a tasty basis for an iced tea or a cocktail.
